In-class journal:

Does the second half of Maggie validate or complicate the argument you began to make last time? If so, how? To begin this writing, we will first revisit our sections on character, setting, ect.. and add in any new specific details you think may be important from the second half of the text.  Once we have done this, then we can begin to articulate our thoughts.

Next, I want you to select from these details some evidence to back up an argument that you could make about the representation of work in this story, as you understand it now that you have read the entire document.  Again, begin this writing with your definition for work. (25 minutes)

Homework:

Incorporate useful findings from Maggie into your current draft of Paper Two, some class time could be used for this.  Papers due next class.
