In this unit, you will be asked to take up social issues and concerns addressed in various readings we have considered this semester and contrast these issues and their representations with actual current national events that have some bearing on your intended field of study and work. This work will culminate in a 6-8 page paper, which will represent the final written product of the Eh 123, 124 200 sequence. After this paper has been completed, we will be using it as a foundation for our concluding presentations, which will take place during the final two weeks of class.
In-class journaling:
Go over your journals and writing to come up with a short list of social issues and concerns that have interested you in the readings this semester. (10-15 mins)
Begin work on paper.
